Permissions

Permissions

Every permission in plugin 2.0: what it gives, the default, and what the bundles contain. Plus ready LuckPerms setups for a helper, a moderator and an admin.

4 min

The tables below come straight from the plugin’s plugin.yml. “op” under “Default” means operators have it out of the box; “false” means you have to grant it. The commands are described in Commands.

Staff and notifications

Bypass

NodeDefaultGivesChildren
mlsac.bypassfalseThe player isn’t checked at all: no alerts, flags or punishments.mlsac.suppression.bypass
mlsac.suppression.bypassfalseChecked as usual, but damage, lag and tricks don’t apply. Ladder commands (kick, ban) still run.—

Admin

NodeDefaultGivesChildren
mlsac.adminopEverything at once, including the suppression bypass. mlsac.bypass itself isn’t included, so the player is still checked.mlsac.alerts, mlsac.prob, mlsac.reload, mlsac.collect, mlsac.command.punish, …kicklist, …falsepositive, …status, …reinstall, …animation, …bench, mlsac.suppression.bypass

Ready-made setups

A helper sees alerts and tags, a moderator also gets the monitor, profiles and status, an admin runs the plugin. We don’t give the admin mlsac.admin, so suppression still works on them and they can test it.

LuckPerms
# helper: alerts and tags
lp group helper permission set mlsac.notify.alerts true
lp group helper permission set mlsac.command.alerts true
# moderator: alerts, monitor, suspects menu, profiles, status, punishment log
lp group moderator permission set mlsac.alerts true
lp group moderator permission set mlsac.prob true
lp group moderator permission set mlsac.command.status true
lp group moderator permission set mlsac.command.kicklist true
# admin: everything except the suppression bypass
lp group admin permission set mlsac.alerts true
lp group admin permission set mlsac.prob true
lp group admin permission set mlsac.reload true
lp group admin permission set mlsac.command.status true
lp group admin permission set mlsac.command.kicklist true
lp group admin permission set mlsac.command.punish true
lp group admin permission set mlsac.command.falsepositive true
lp group admin permission set mlsac.command.reinstall true
lp group admin permission set mlsac.command.animation true
# an op still gets mlsac.admin by default; this keeps suppression working on them
lp user <nick> permission set mlsac.suppression.bypass false

A person gets each alert line once, even if they hold several of these nodes. If a player isn’t flagged or suppressed, start by checking permissions.
