API key
Where to find your key in the dashboard, where to paste it, and what to do if it leaks.
The key ties your server to your licence. One key per server.
Finding the key
- 1Open “Servers”
Servers in the dashboard.
- 2Click your server
The licence card opens.
- 3The “Connection” tab
Look for the “API key” block.
- 4Copy it
The eye icon reveals it, “Copy” grabs the whole thing.
Where it goes
Open plugins/MLSAC/config.yml on the server (your host’s file manager or SFTP) and put the key into detection.api-key in place of your-api-key. Keep the quotes.
language: "ru"detection:# Get a key (or a free trial) at https://mlsac.netapi-key: "PASTE-YOUR-KEY-HERE"remote-config:# "" = the only preset on your account, "<name>" = that preset, "none" = built-in defaultspreset: ""
Save the file and run mlsac reload in the console (/mlsac reload in game). No restart needed: a couple of seconds later the console shows Connected and Applying preset.
The rest of config.yml
| Key | What for |
|---|---|
language | The plugin’s message language: ru, en, uk, es, vi, zh, ar. |
remote-config.preset | Which preset to load from the site; see Your first preset. |
server-identity.name | What the server is called in alerts. |
server-identity.family | For networks. Servers in the same family share alerts and actions when interserver.enabled is on. |
server-identity.reporting | Whether alerts and punishments go to the dashboard, Discord and Telegram. alert-threshold sets the confidence they start at (0.80 by default). |
debug | A verbose log for when support asks. Normally false. |
_schema-version | Internal, leave it alone. |
If the key leaks
Hit “Reset Key” on the same tab. The server with the old key drops off right away, so put the new key into config.yml and run mlsac reload. You can reset again after 6 hours. Only the licence owner can do this.
